These paintings are created with acrylic and pencil, they have up to 8 layers of paint, with the pencil and the layering I gave the painting two different three dimensional structures. For me it was very important to be able to see in some areas still the first layer. With this technic I gave the painting the depth I hoped to achieve. I love to see them shining through. To understand these paintings think of yourself as a bird, as one looks down on earth or in to the sun ( depends on the painting).
